Step 2: The Footings
Whether you are building a 1 story or a 2 story home or even if you are planning on putting your home on a basement, we start by pouring the footings.
In this picture you can see the form boards that hold the concrete in place until it dries. You can also see the steel rods, also know as rebar, short for reinforcing bar. It helps to provide tensile strength to the foundation.
