Step 4: Cleaning up the Foundation

Once the concrete has set, the form boards are stripped away and the tops of the concrete walls are ground to make them smooth and level for the framing to begin.

Here you can see the exterior foundation walls. The short foundation walls in the center will be built up to support the floor of the home. These are called pony walls.
